Asian Rage!!!

As many of you may already know, Sony has developed the slim model of the PS3, and slashed the price from $500-$600 to around $300, a step that many eager gamers have been waiting for these last two years. The only problem is, was it worth it?

Although the new model is 33% smaller, 36% lighter, and consumes 34% less power than previous models, some sacrafices had to be made. The most drastic one is probably the omission of PS2 playback compatability, a feature that was praised by many fans due to the fact that its competitor, the 360, lacked in. The most charming thing about the PS3 when it came out was not its freestyle, third-party OS and features, but its ability to play the many collections of PS2 games that we had on our shelves when our PS2 died out. It gave us a reason not to store away our games. But what now? Even if a PS2 only costs $99, this action is a bad play on Sony's part.

And what about the others? The slim lacks SACD (super audio CD) playback, third-party OS installations (the 'official' way to hack the PS3), PS2 emulation, and external harddrive recognition (a neat feature in which you can send audio, video, .tiff, .exe, .isos, you name it onto the PS3). Compared to its predecessor, phat PS3, the slim is a shameful mockery.

As a proud Asian computer hacking nerd, I look down on the slim. Sony always amazed me in their creations, with the legendary PS2 processing that even modern computers cannot imitate (PS2 emulation on computer doesn't even run smoothly. Our comps are not even up to par with the PS2 yet!) And even when the PS3 first came out, I stood with them through all the criticisms and bad reviews, cause I knew what I had was a masterpiece. Now I dont even know what's right or wrong. No console should be downgraded because of, what, high prices? Shame on Sony for caving in. Shame on gamers. Shame on the world!!! It's time I take my (Persona 3) leave ...

P.S. I'll be back later

Kämpfer (and school shit)

Ok guys, this post is about the upcoming anime from the fall lineup i posted a while back, Kämpfer! Better then telling you, i think these two pics will do the job.

Talk about genderbending >.> ...

To be honest, this dudes power is fantastic. What kinda guy DOESNT want to wake up one morning having long blueish silky hair, tits where your flat chest would be, and a hole replacing the one thing that men pride themselves upon. And what's more, a fucking stuffed doll will talk. SURPRISE!!!, right? ( ^ _ ^)∠☆PAN

In any case, the manga is not really widely known, but some believe it stands out as a good storyline with funny comic moments. Ill opt to skip out on reading the manga and going staight to watching the anime when it comes out Oct. 1st. Speaking of which, the fall anime season is rapidly coming, with the first show coming out on the 5th of Sept. Lets hope for another great season!

Some less important news, school started. bummer ...

Also, in the latest chapter of Mirai Nikki, the author stated a game has been announced for release in January 2010 on the PSP (Mirai Nikki: 13 Hitome no Nikki Shoyuusha). Apparently, by the looks of it, it seems to be an adventure sim. Wished there was an english translation :/ Japs get all the good stuff

Anyways, umineko later.

Back From Death

Its been a whole good month since my last post. Here's how it went down:

1-7 days after last post = Persona 3 24/7 (great rpg btw)
8-10 days = hardcore depression and spending most of time staring at ceiling
11-17 days = anime and manga binge and frustration at my hdmi/vga cables
18-19 days = preparing for trip to Florida (FL, not Cali >.<)
20-28 days = endless hours of driving, Universal Studios, eating at WHAT THE PHO?!
29 days (today) = doing this

Yeap, a real long journey. Oh yeah, remember the time I said I would review Umineko? Here' the laydown: shit happened, people died, Maria's being a little bitch. Nah, trolling. The real review will be out in a bit (maybe)

On some other news, heres the anime lineup for the fall. There are some shows that stand out aka Darker than Black 2, Queens Blade 2 (expect some hentai, you pervs!),Fairy Tail the anime (you know that), and Toaru Majutsu no Index spinoff series with the shocky electric girl :)

If you look carefully, you'll see some older shows reappearing aka INUYASHA!!! YEAH! God knows how many angry fangirls were pissed in '04 when the show suddenly stopped. Now QBs and Inufans can mingle in the same chatroom >.> Here's an exerpt from SubsFuckingWhere's IRC channel

[14:59:53] <&KozuPii> ok guys

Funny bastards :D.

Are they really going to do Inuyasha? ヽ(´ー`)ノ Who knows. At least CrunchyRoll won't be monopolizing this like they did with Aoi Hana. Shit can't get better than that.

Umineko I-II: first move

This is gonna be something new I'll be doing. Since Umineko is one of my star shows for this season, I'm gonna review each and every episode that will be released each week. This means that for the next 3 months or so, you'll be reading instense and in-depth umineko coverage by your favorite otaku! yay

This week is I-II: first move, the second episode. I assume that by using I-II, they mean to divide the series into short side stories that will show a specific angle of the overall plot, reminiscent of how Higurashi did it. It would also explain how the plot is progressing at a highly accelerated rate of ordinary animeness (except for Code Geass, that shit goes fast >.>) Already there have been a noted 6 deaths in the family, reaching the latest manga chapter scanlated on onemanga. That's alot of the plot, considering this is only episode 2.

Maria takes on a more demented demeanor, when she announces Beatrice's (the island's witch) plans to the family. According to her, the family must repay the money loaned with interest, which would put them into dept. The only loophole they have is to find the gold hidden away on the island, in which case the payments would be disregarded. The only problem is that no one believes Maria, or thinks this is a plot by one of the 18 members on the island.

That night, after several conversations and a marriage proposal by George to Shannon (how cute :3), six members disappeared. Their whereabouts are discovered in a shed, where all of them suffered deaths by mutilation and had their faces ripped off. The conclusion of the episode shows the scene, and the reactions from the characters after seeing the bodies. This leaves several questions unanswered.

Who did this?
Does this make the existence of Beatice valid?
Will the family survive, contrary to the epitaph of Beatrice?
Is Maria the shitz!?
Why the f**k did Shannon die!?!?1 T_T

These questions may not be answered until the end of the run, but I think question4 is yes ...

All in all, I thought this episode was fantastic. As you already know, this series follows the legacy of Higurashi, so of course the animation would be great. The bloody scenes are detailed and make a good sequel to the show that defined horror anime. The opening and ending aren't as enjoyable as Higurashi, but sets the tone of the series, especially with the opening employing a little bit of Latin. The score, however, is amazing. Every animated detail is accompanied by its own background music, some are eerie, and some are downright fitting for the mood. When it transitions from to family dinner to some alone time for Shannon and George, the music helps to easily shift from the two. As far as how the plot is going, it would be nice if the whole series did not have one long storyline, as it is way too soon for people to die. Rather, following the Higurashi style would be the perfect choice, and gives some people a nostalgic sense of the great predecessor anime that everyone loves. I also feel that adding the romance between George and the *late* Shannon adds more depth to the plot, that fleshes out the humanity of the characters. Of course, this is only a ploy to later use that humanity to utterly crush it to insanity and lead to a great finale of blood and guts ♥

Next episode comes out on 16th.

The Genderbending of Haruhi Suzumiya

The second season (or rather, the rebroadcast of the original anime Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu) is turning out to be enjoyable, so I decided to post this. The Genderbending of Haruhi Suzumiya, a spinoff series made by fans of the original series a year ago tries to recreate the story with everyone's gender reversed!

With this, I suddenly approve of Itsuki gaying on Kyon :3 (Kyonko now, she is soooo moe!!!)

P.S. I've resized, no more need for WordPress (although it still looks better. But I don't have a domain T_T)

Just had to post it.

Jeff: Btw, congrats on your second post in a single day! You're awesome!
Haka: ya, i noe i is :3

Selvaria vs. Alicia: Epic Staring Contest

Clicky it. In case you didn't know, keikaku doori means "just as planned." A Light Yagami reference :)

Anyways, Happy Fourth of July. whoo.

Onto inportant things, Ayako lied about Valkyria Chronicles ending prematurely, and had the nerve to drop subbing it. Bastards. Instead, the season will have 26 episodes before it ends its run. Pretty nice :)

Umineko has been subbed by gg, and it is pretty good, but lost alot of aspects from Higurashi. Firstly, the opening lacks the eerieness and bloodshed from its progenitor show, but I doubt things will stay the same as the story progresses.

Secondly, the new Rei, a Maria Ushiromiya, is not as omnipotent and cryptic (atleast, not as much), but is definitely MOE !!!

KAWAII!!! *hug*

Thirdly, things seem to be picking up fast. Family tensions already pile high, and Natsuhi has already been called a whore! oh snapz :O. We can already see the evil in the hearts of the family members that, given time and a little bit push from nature, will nurture a bloodly massacre :3

What's more, Rosa is surely becoming the new Shion with her crazy bitch eyes and fits of mad rage (probably)

All in all, I have high expectations from this show, and seeing how the manga has already killed off a few of the characters in very gruesome ways, can't wait to see how the story develops. Oh, and that pic above is real. She really does have a horizontal blue line across her right eye :D

Long awaited Fairy Tail anime + others

Fairy Tail Pictures, Images and Photos

Apparently, there is a slated release for an anime adaptation of Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail.

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2009-06-26/fairy-tail-manga-gets-anime-adaptation-green-lit

This anime will come out during this Fall, and will be produced by studios A-1 Pictures and Satelight. Their other works include Kannagi, Valkyria Chronicles, Guin Saga, Basquash!, Persona 4, Aria the Origination, etc. Quite a good list :)

These works, if you have seen them yet, provide quality animation and are usually shown in high definition, the 1280x720 h264 mkv files, which are my favorite (death to shitty xvid!). Let's hope it'll be a good anime!

Also, this Fall season has more sequel seasons than original animes. We'll be seeing another season of Shakugan no Shana, Queens Blade (boobies), Asura Cryin', a sequel to To Aru Majutsu no Index (To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, dunno what its about), Koihime Musou, Natsu no Arashi, White Album, and Stitch ...
http://www.fansubwiki.com/Who_Subs_What:_FALL_2009

Umineko no Naku Koro Ni 1st episode came out today too (or technically yesterday, since they're a day ahead). Unfortunately, there are no good fansub groups who are doing it >.<

K-On!, Psp, and other news

So ... K-On! is ending ... DAMNIT IM GONNA !@#$ UP SOMEBODY'S FACE that's sad ...

I never thought it would end this way. Who knew Yui would go Higurashi and flash those crazy Shion bitch eyes. What a way to end T_T. Guess there won't be a season two (p.s. not real ending)

With the end of one anime comes the beginning of several others, and of course I have rambled about those that I plan to watch this coming anime season. Spice and Wolf II is, by far, my most anticipated, having seen already the promo episode, entitled episode 0... Just can't wait to see Horo again :)

About psp news, I finally managed to hack my psp! yay~! It took awhile, because there were some problems when installing ChickHEN, such as changing ofw to 5.03. It was annoying... But the biggest problem about 5.03 Gen-A is that if you make a complete shutdown, you'd have to do the whole process over again, so I will have to keep my psp on ... forever ...

But now I have Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness and the new Prinny: Can I Really Be A Hero!? games, SO IT IS ALL WORTH IT :3

Some other news:

  • WordPress progress is fuck it, too much work delayed
  • More downloads for UTorrent, its up to 136 items in queue now ... yay ...
  • Finished catching up on Katekyo, took a long while. Plus, Gantz is way too boring right now
  • It stopped raining T.T

Phat to Lite to Brite! Psp news!!

Recently, I've spent some of my days researching the psp hacks and development that has been going underground, away from the prying eyes of Sony, in an attempt to hack my "unhackable" psp-3001 model. Former psp developer and current creator of the M33 custom firmware series, Dark-AleX, has had trouble using old methods to hack the 300x series, and athough I had waited for him to deliver a cure, I turned to a different method ...

The problem is that, unlike the 100x (phat/fat psps) and some of the older 200x (lite/slim psps), the 300x (brite) series have the TA-090 and higher motherboards on them, which automatically deletes any custom firmware that is installed via a pandora battery (making them totally obsolete =.= waste of $15...). Newer versions of the 200x psps also have this problem, and bricks whenever a custom firmware is installed.

Of course, because of how much people are willing to turn to illegal actions to break away from the dictatorial grip of Sony, a new method of hacking was developed early this month, after waiting almost a year for someone to find a way. From a small development group, Team Typhoon, the application ChickHEN can be used to install ONLY Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-A, which has all of the benefits from the M33 series. ChickHEN, currently, has no way of playing .iso formats yet, so what it can do now is try to temporary hold custom firmware on. This means the only problem is that, if you completely shut down the psp, you'd have to do the whole process over again.

I currently have not done this method yet (because I'm not sure as to how safe this is for my psp >.>) but will decide to if I find a sure-fire way to do it without bricking. Hence the reason for my late posts, and why I posted this at 1:53 a.m. ...

This is it for the post, and I still haven't moved this to WordPress. Too much work ...

Press the word, WordPress!

I'm thinking about moving this blog to Wordpress. Everything seems so much better on that blogging site, instead of this crap stuff >.> Can't even work out the html for a simple frame resizing ...

We'll see, maybe later I'll transfer this blog. Call it the New Azn Life!

Anime Spotlight: Valkyria Chronicles

An anime I've been watching recently is Valkyria Chronicles, and like most of the ones that have premiered over this Spring, this series is one that will entertain.

Based off of the PS3 game with the same name, story is set in a fictional version of Europe in 1930, in the country of Gallia. Because of its abundance of ragnite ore—which can be refined into a powerful fuel—it has come under attack from the East European Imperial Alliance, which itself is engaged in war with the Atlantic Federation.

Generally speaking, the characters are numerous and likable, developing as the story progresses. They all have their own personality quirks. They often adhere to conventional character archetypes, but it’s well executed, and I think way better than what typically passes for character development in anime. What I truly love, however, is the relationship between Alicia and Welkin, the two main protagonists of the story. Alicia strikes me as the kind of person who feels like half-tsundere, and half-heroine-like. Welkin is the person who is oblivious to the thoughts of women, but gets the job done when he needs to. These two create a chemistry that is akin to Horo and Lawrence from Spice and Wolf, and makes the whole series more likable.

The story itself, IMO, is pretty uncommon, and stands out among some other shows. Two countries fighting for a natural resource, and the middle nation struggling to defend itself. Epic, isn't it? One thing about this anime, although it may seem like it, military features don't necessarily influence the performance, but rather works to add a backdrop to the storyline.

Other features are the animation itself, being one that is truly unique. It resembles the work of the game, and the backgrounds are stunning and show much details. Although its no 5cm Per Second, it holds well on its own.

In all, I'm kinda disappointed that there is only 13 episodes. With episode 12 coming out this week, the story ends too short compared to the game. Possibly the only con I can see with Valkyria Chronicles is its length, but hopefully they'll make a sequel.

Drop by for the next post, I guess ...

The Return ... *cue dramatic music*

Anyways, after a good 10 days or so from my last post, I've finally decided to post something here. As contrary to what 'some' of you may believe, I am not dead >.>

The thing that kept me from posting was, of course, the whole essence of Summer. There have been so many things for me to do, and because of this, my mind becomes ever encumbered from my normal activities, which had been kept in check with the system of daily school. Now that school is out, my whole being becomes fixated on the new routine that my old one quickly becomes superseded. Although, there is one factor that stands out from all of my prevent-me-from-posting factors, and that is, unfortunately, World of Warcraft...

Notice how it's all Alliance o(^^o)(o^^)o

There are other things I'm looking forward to, namely two new series that will be premiring this Summer:

1. Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou
The story revolves around Koyomi Morishita, a clumsy high school freshman girl who is often mistaken for a grade-schooler because of her shortness. Koyomi becomes a disciple of Misa Anehara, a 25-year-old graduate student who happens to be one of the most powerful modern-day magicians. (ANN description)

2. Seitokai no Ichizon
The series, which is also called Hekiyou Gakuen Seito-kaigi Jiroku (The Records of the Hekiyou Academy Student Council’s Activities), revolves around a private high school whose student council is chosen entirely by popularity vote. Because of this, Ken Sugisaki is the only male representative, in the otherwise all bishoujo student council, that may enter the “sacred sanctuary” of the council’s meeting room. At the behest of Council President Kurimu Sakurano (pictured at right), Sugisaki records the minutes of the council meetings, which devolve into daily conversations about the students’ lives and interests. (ANN description)

There's also one other game I'm looking at, because Disgaea has been slow for me lately (over 150 hours, lvl 3247 Mao, and super extra awesome final X boss, Overlord Baal, defeated. Quite a feat Q.Q)

This game is Cross Edge, an RPG developed by Capcom, Nippon Ichi, Namco Bandai, Gust, and Idea Factory. And if you didn't notice earlier, Nippon Ichi is also the creator of the Disgaea game series, and will be featuring Etna and Prinny as guest characters in this fun-filled otaku madness game. Having been released in the U.S. on May 26, 2009, the game has been widely recieved by Japanese audiences, but not review audiences, i.e. Ign and Gamespot. But I thought, what the hell, screw those guys. They gave the Disgaea games a constant 6-7 score, so of course they don't have much love for the Japanese RPG areas in gaming. I've decided to try this game, and hopefully, it'll be as much fun as Disgaea was.

Anyways, this was a long post. Hopefully I'll continue to post more ramblings, but I won't make any promises...

P.S. 7-up is sooo much better than Sprite...

Bla, bla, late post, bla ...

Photobucket

Ok, so yeah, I forgot to do yesterday's post, though I don't really think anyone cares much. Anyways, I'm really tired right now, since I've only had 6 hours of sleep, which is quite rare for the break, and have been awake since 9:30.

Anyways, don't know what to talk about, so here's a comic on Kingdom Hearts (click on it, since it won't fit).

Summer ... IS HERE!

Konata loves Summer!

Yes! It's finally Summer (well, technically not yet, BUT FOR STUDENTS YEAH!!!) Summer is the time of the year where students, who have sat on chairs for 25 hours a week, expand their horizons outside of the classroom. Whether you're working your jobs, taking a road trip, or just plain ol' sleeping, Summer is the most anticipated time of the year! The hours of endless gaming awaiting, the sight of bikini girls on the beaches, and of course, the taste of wonderful, sweet ice cream!

Er, well, I guess not like this ... Either way, there's too much to do for Summer, especially when 3 of my most anticipated animes are coming out. Spice and Wolf II, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, and Zan Sayonaru Zetsubou Sensei!

I'm also going to go to California, to tour around the UCLA campus, my dream university. For Asians, it's either UCLA or seppukku, and I surely don't want the latter... maybe I'll also visit DisneyLand, see some of my homeboys in Chinatown, and hit the beaches. Gonna be fun timez ahead!

Well then, to all of you guys who have been liberated from your teachers, and to those who are still suffering, have a nice Summer, and have a lot of fun!

Phở is Phat!

We left early today for school, since we still have Finals. Today was not that bad, but tomorrow are my easiest classes: Math and Justice/Peace. They practically gave us the answers for the tests. Either way, right now I'm hungry, and can only think of the wondrous miracle that is Phở. A good friend of mine will take me to get some tomorrow, so that'll be good.

To all you noobz out there livin under rocks, phở (pronounced "fuh") is a Vietnamese soup dish made with slices of thin beef, rice vermicelli noodles, and several hours prepared broth.

The way you do it is simmer the broth with chicken bones, steaks, onions, spices, and other stuff for like 4-5 hours. After that is done, you take the noodles and boil them with salt for about 10 minutes to make that thin and soft texture. Always add the sliced meat on top of the noodles before preparing to shower it with the broth. It doesn't matter if the meat is a little rare, as the broth has been specialized to turn it brown in a matter of seconds. Then you can add any other condiments, i.e. green stuff or onions. When the soup is on the table, usually people add spicy red Sriracha and black Hoisin sauce to the bowl, which enchances the flavor. Mix up your soup, and you have a perfectly great dish to dine on. Of course, there are more extras that you can add to the dish, like a little bit of lime or some bean sprouts. It depends on what you want to eat, but either way, phở still stands victorious, and will satisfy even the hungriest of men!

Michael Toppa recently ate at Com Pho in Tokyo, which serves a "highly bastardized" phở - not bad, but not strictly phở. It's sad, but Japan just doesn't have enough phở restaurants that it needs. Surely we need more chefs and cooks to migrate there and make the recipies slowly integrate into the Japanese culture.

"It’s been a long time since I’ve written a pho review. I have a backlog of a few I’ve been meaning to write (two more in Philly and one in San Mateo), and hopefully I’ll get to those soon. But for now I’ll weave my talk of pho with my ongoing talk of Tokyo. Pho is not easy to find in Japan. While the Vietnamese diaspora in Tokyo is big enough to sustain at least a few Vietnamese restaurants, you usually need to go to a specialty shop to get good pho. Thanks to the dazzling pho-king site, I was aware of at least one pho restaurant in Tokyo. Unfortunately, I never made it there - it would have been an excursion to get there from where we lived, and it just never made it to the top of the list. But I did stumble across the Com Pho stand in the basement of the Marunouchi Oazo shopping center, located across the street from Tokyo station. Com Pho is a chain with four locations in Tokyo, but I haven’t been to the others."

As you can see though, phở is an international phenomenon. No matter where you are, as long as there are chinatowns and asian minority regions, a phở shop is bound to be found. Being as one of our most treasured skills, a chef of phở has the knowledge and experience equivalent to te ancient old masters of the martial arts. Even today, they fight an epic battle to preserve the magnificent culture that is asian. This here, is what a modern day phở shop is:
To Crik and Vidad, this was the Florida shop i was talking about :3

Phở for tomorrow, !@#$ yeah!!!

Negima and Finals

Had just finished reading the new chapter of Negima, 252. Guess what happened in the end? Surprise! Yuri action!!! (^∇^) I had a slight feeling Konoka and Setsuna were gonna do this sometime in the future, but it all happened so fast and suddenly ... and it felt so good ...

Akamatsu Ken is one of my favorite mangakas, and many know him for his work on Love Hina. Personally, however, I believe Mahou Sensei Negima is his masterpiece. The artwork stands out as being very detailed and cute, but at the same time intense during battle sequences. It is sharp and reminds me of some of Nobuhiro Watsuki's stuff, like Rurouni Kenshin (though that was back in the old days...). I also love the cast of characters, with over 30 main female characters, and a single (albeit young) mage teacher. It's like the perfect harem series!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, now that I've gotten rid of the urge to manganize (its a word, google it) my blog post, lets get back to RL. Today was the first day of finals, AND IT RAPED MY SORRY ASS!!! Having APUSH, Spanish, and Journalism in a row turned my sunny (bad, bad, bad) day into a day of living hell. Although I studied for stuff in Spanish, it did not help at all. Future and subjuctive tenses are too freakin' related to each other with the use of haber to be able to differentiate. Furthermore, the teacher just had to make such a brain-wracking test that almost no one fully understood. It was just horrible ...

Why can't schools have otaku-based tests? Or atleast a class in the study of anime, manga, and video games? I would surely take that class, and score at the very top! Then when it comes to Finals, we could play a video game. I'd sure beats the shit outta what we do every year during the last week of May. And even if you had failed the tests, it still would have been good, because instead of a big, fat F-, you'd get Orihime and a GAME OVER. Sexy♥.

Also, lol at those who actually googled manganize...

Corn pops...

Sleep...?

Today's topic: Sleep
To be honest, the reason why I chose this was because I had just woken up from an intense 4-hour midday 'nap', or so to speak. These naps refresh my mind and body for the upcoming horrors of of high school life a.k.a. homework...

When I sleep, I tend to get into that curled up position facing either the left or right side of the bed. I usually don't sleep looking up, cause I tend to move around alot. There's also those times where I have insomnia, and can't sleep at all, due to worries that fly 'round in my mind about regrets, life, future, and other depressive crap. It helps when I put on music to listen to when I sleep. I've been conditioned from early childhood to listen music when I sleep, so I can't really get out of that habit. Plus, it makes you daydream before you sleep, which is a positive! (or atleast for me). Here's the sad part about my sleeping habits though. I tend to need something to hold to when I sleep (;_・)... *sigh* I'm so lonely ...

Anyways, don't you guys hate it also when you can't remember a REALLY amazing dream? I don't mean the ones about girls, (although those are fine too...) but those ones that were too outrageous to be anything near a fraction of reality, but you accepted them the way they were anyways and went along with them? And it always sucks, cause there is always that clue or picture in your mind that teases you about what you dreamt about, but you can't seem to expand it? A great enigma ...

On a last note, when you wake up after a good sleep, there are times when you feel like shit... It happens alot to me, though that's probably because I take too many naps. It's like when you wake up suddenly, you have a massive headache and your eyes hurt like Chuck Norris roundhouse kicking them. And there are retards who want to talk to you, and you respond by mumbling ... yep, too often ...

Anyways, I've ranted on long enough. I chose the picture for this because I couldn't find any good anime guy sleeping, or waking up from sleeping...and the ones I found were Yaoi....yeah...

EDIT: I am a ninja to those who sleep ...

Happy Memorial Day!

Other than it being the holiday, today's not really exciting... all I've been doing for the past 10 hours was eat, Disgaea, and anime/manga.

I've also got nothing to talk about today. With that, I'll leave you guys something to reminisce about...

Rain, dogs, and cats, oh my!

Today, I will be talking about rain. Isn't it the shit? I mean, the aroma of when the droplets hit the ground, the cool atmosphere, and the melancholy feelings? ITS LIK PURFECT FER ME :D! If anything, I could be this dog here waiting for a *certain* someone. Notice how the rain emphasizes the loneliness.

It's kinda weird though, cause I've never had stood out in the rain like that before. But if I had an umbrella, I would do it. That's how much I love rain!

Here's a list explaining the other aspects of rain:
  1. It's water
  2. It's cold
  3. It's the shitz!
  4. Asians love it
  5. Dogs hate it
  6. Cats give Hai 5s

Now, onto other news, I can't seem to configure my template using html codes. It's annoying cause I want to make the posts a little bit bigger on the left side, since there's that whole space of nothingness...don't wanna fall into it...
Maybe I'll get it later on. Doesn't seem much worth if I trouble over it too much...

EDIT: Ok, so it really did rain alot over where I am. I forgot to mention that I loved thunder and lightning too. Here's a pretty cool story about it:

A little girl walked daily to and from school. Though the weather one morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the elementary school.

As the day progressed, the winds whipped up, along with thunder and lightning. The mother of the little girl was worried that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school, and she herself feared that the electrical storm might harm her child. Following the roar of the thunder, lightning would cut through the sky like a flaming sword.

Being concerned, the mother got into her car and drove along the route to her child's school. Soon she saw her daughter walking along, but at each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look and smile. One followed another, each with the little girl stopping, looking at the streak of light and smiling.

Finally, the mother called her over to the car and asked, "What are you doing?"

The child answered, "God keeps taking pictures of me!"

Moe Mikuru is BACK!!! :3

Good news everyone. As you may have already know (or may not have...), the second season of Suzumiya Haruhi is already on air. First new episode released by Coal Guys and gg. Personally, I'm kinda disappointed that is not in very high quality (about 170 mb) compared to some of the other series going on right now. However! It's all good, 'cause this has been anticipated since way back in 2006. MORE MOE MIKURU :3 well, maybe not as moe as Mio...

Love 'em both though :3

Cheese cake for tomorrow.

Countdown until Summer

I've got about one more week of school left until Summer break. I'm really already in the break mode, 'cause I've been playing with cards for the last two weeks or so. It's really lonely though, since I only play Go Fish by myself. *sigh* Life is cruel.

Right now, I'm at my friend's house though. There's Neb, Leiott, Crik, and Vidad with me. HA! Those are just anagrams. See if you can figure them out:

Neb ___
Leiott ______
Crik ____
Vidad _____

Jokes aside, I love playing go fish there's one game that I've been following lately for the last two months or so. Disgaea 3, the ultimate anime RPG. With over 50 creatable characters, and a level cap of 9999, it can satisfy the most intense of asian nerds. Right now, I'm at 82 hours of play with only my main character at level 1400 or something like that. Yeah... more of the stereotypical otaku in me >.<

Here's a pic of what I would look like playing Disgaea 3... as a girl...
Cupcakes for tomorrow.

A new change!

Today I'm going to fall into the world of blogging! yay... though I'm very new to this and don't know what to do. But as my title says, I'm gonna probably make this like my online diary. Right now, I'm at home chillin' 'cause I didn't want to go to school. It's not that I ditched it because ... ok yeah, maybe I did ditch then. Oh well. Anyways, I kinda feel melancholic right now, so I'm gonna go eat some waffles and watch anime.

BTW, as recognition for my awesome first post, let's put on a big welcoming sign :D and some Sambomaster love!
